“Solstice” by Vidhi Wadhwani A/W 2018

Tired of the conventional norms of contemporary dressing? Vidhi Wadhwani’s latest collection is a treat to our wandering eyes. This stylish collection entitled, ‘Solstice’ exudes a feminine, carefree, nomadic and easygoing vibe. Monochromes and metallic dominated the runway in unconventional designs, delicate geometric panels, fancy block printed organza impressions and graceful drapery. However, what mostly caught our attention were Vidhi’s signature applique work, rich and delicate textures and intricate detailing.

Beautifully deconstructed jackets, sheer skirts, soft layers, structured dresses and geometric prints comprise this wonderful plethora of unique, elegant and modern occasion wear. 3D handcrafted textures and motifs, seamless drapes, and flattering silhouettes added that extra charm to the lovely outfits.

‘Solstice’ stole the show at the London Fashion Week A/W 2018, held at the Freemasons Hall on the 16th of Feb 2018. This collection boasts of being season less and caters to the ‘See now, buy now’ concept, that can be purchased fresh off the runway. Label Vidhi Wadhwani retails online and out of multi-designer stores across India and Singapore.
