Different ways to style a blazer

Posted on

Gone are the days when blazers were used only for office wear or for formal occasions. Now a days blazers are soo much in vogue . Indeed they are an extremely versatile piece of clothing. You can style them in soo many ways and also create multiple looks. They have the power to make you look subtle, chic yet super stylish at the same time.

Here are few ways in which you can style your blazer. Carry each look with confidence and you’re good to go.

  • The ethnic way

So this look is such that most of us would be scared to experiment with for obvious reasons. Why would someone want to ditch the gorgeous traditional lehanga and opt for something soo unusual like this for a wedding, right? But, just look at how effortless Aditi Rao Hyadri looks. Plus, it isn’t too tuff to find an outfit like this. All you need is a basic black blazer, which we believe is something one must own if they want to invest in a blazer and you can pair it with black and gold palazzo, just like the one in the picture or you can even opt for a black and gold skirt. Also, it is completely fine to experiment with colours too for this look, just make sure your blazer is of the same colour as your bottom. Keep the look subtle and not too loud by opting for very minimal jewellery.

  • Streetstyle on the go

Just pairing you regular jeans and basic t-shirt with a blazer can take your complete look from casual to dressy real quick. All of us have a pair of basic blue jeans in their wardrobe if not ripped. All you need it your favourite pair of blue jeans, a plain white tee( you can even opt for a tee with some caption on it to make it look more catchy) and a basic black blazer(Over sized would look great too). Add shoes or heels to your look, whatever you’re comfortable with and you’re good to go. This look is perfect for an event or even for a dinner date.

And the pink blazer is just perfect to give any look a girly edge. This way you’re just adding colour to your otherwise plain outfit and also drawing attention towards your blazer.

  • The Dressy Way

Layering your dresses we believe is soo underrated. Adding layer to your dress just changes its look completely. Adding blazer is one of the best ways to layer a dress especially when you’re wanting to use your summer dress even in winters. This look is the safest to experiment with in terms of floral prints and colours and is great for an office party.

  • Match it up

Co-ords have been in trend since quiet sometime and we can’t deny that they are turning heads and are the hottest thing right now. So if you have a neutral colour or a black blazer we suggest investing in the same colour trouser. For this look either wear a top inside your blazer or button it up completely, keeping the neck low and add a belt to complete the look.
